The Beginning
I first toured Tasmania by car in the mid 90s and fell in love with our island state. Tasmania has so much to offer and it can be easily missed when you're driving at 100km/h. I've often thought how great it would be to ride around Tassie.
Fast forward 20 years and all of a sudden, a passing comment on a bike ride with my MAMIL friends, has reignited the spark.
So this blog is now live as a central repository for the trip and will hopefully provide some information for others wishing to do a similar trip.
In the blogs to come, I hope to document all facets of our trip as a memoir for us to enjoy and as an aid for people who have limited Touring experience to learn along with us as we start planning our trip, setting up our bikes, and finally, share pictures of our adventure.
